Who is Out Enjoying Indian Summer....?

Oh yeah! That would be ME! :)

Went for a gorgeous 5 mile walk today... here are a few of the pix from the hiking paths...

Along Concord, Massachusetts Revolutionary War trail...

Bittersweet was everywhere... so pretty!

These stone walls date back to 1775 when the Lexington & Concord minuteman hid behind them to surprise the British redcoats as they marched through on April 19th.

Beautiful! I took a walk here in IA yesterday that looked very similar to that (without all of the historical awesomeness and with a bit more tailgaters at times). Congrats on a great 5-miler!!

Beautiful! 5 miles is awesome! My cousins live in Billerica, not too far, right? I was there in late Sept. The trees were just starting to change. So beautiful...

Thanks, Karla... great that you went out yesterday!

And Kat - who knew?! Yes, Billerica is VERY close to me. Next time you visit, we'll have to meet! :)

Thanks for joining in the blog, ladies! :)

This weather has really been condusive to getting out and putting some miles behind you. I wound up actually jogging last night... and that usually ain't my thing. The dog was panting and giving me her "WTF" expression, but there was just something in the air that make me want to get moving.

I envy your New England autumns. Here in the south the leaves are green one day and dead brown the next. The weather has been gorgeous, though. I spent the better part of this afternoon on my front porch with a good book. (I was exercising my brain.)

Jack! I had the same inclination to *maybe jog* (!?!) on Sunday... then worried I may be about to pass out and sat down! lol Soon though! Laughed aloud about your dog's expression! :)

Alice, I looooove sitting & reading on the front porch but that is June-August weather here. We all have tradeoffs where we live, I suppose! I just love being able to walk outside if we *want* to!
